The Last Dinner in Singapore

After a few days of getting to know each other and learning together at Orientation in Singapore, the Scholars say goodbye as they depart for their respective placements.

Exploring the Historical George Town, Penang, Malaysia

The Scholars enjoyed a guided tour of George Town, recognized by UNESCO for its "unique architectural and cultural townscape." The staff of the George Town World Heritage Incorporated shared insights about the city's rich history shaped by various cultures and religions, and later, Scholars enjoyed a taste of the city's reputable culinary scene.

The Habitat Penang Hill

Scholars toured Penang Hill, under the guidance of the Habitat Foundation Penang Hill staff, and later learned about environment and policy from Wong Siew Lyn, environmental journalist and co-founder of Macaranga, a Malaysian environmental news site.
