About Jesse
Jesse is a climate journalist based in London. As a 2019-2020 Luce Scholar, she wrote on climate change and refugee issues from Tokyo, Japan for The Japan Times. Prior to her work in Japan, she worked for Politico and Foreign Policy Magazine from Washington, DC, and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her work has covered world trade, immigration, agriculture, and climate change, among other issues. Jesse graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in history and evolutionary biology, and completed her Master’s degree in environmental policy and regulation at the London School of Economics.
