About Wesley
(6/2022) Wesley Price is a predoctoral fellow in the economics department at MIT, where his work centers around health insurance and health care delivery. When the pandemic diverted Luce plans from Jakarta to Seoul, Wesley pivoted from policy to a year of deep learning research at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Predictive models and electronic health record exploration aside, Wesley’s time in Seoul solidified a deep appreciation of the Korean language and an obstinate insistence that Korean food is some of the best around. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020, where he studied political science, biology, and math. Wesley’s happiest at a piano, in a busy kitchen, or meeting new friends in unfamiliar places.
