About Melia
Melia is currently finishing a Master of Studies in History of War at Oxford, having formerly completed the MSt in Music (Musicology) at the same institution. Her previous research focuses on American Civil War songs, mid-19th century proto-feminist parlor songs, and the British WWII singer Vera Lynn. She graduated from Claremont McKenna College with degrees in Music and Government. During her Luce year, Melia worked for the West Kowloon Cultural District as an arts administrator in Hong Kong.
