About Halo
(6/2022) As a 2020-202 1 Luce Scholar, Halo Lahnert was placed in Taiwan, where they worked with National Intangible Heritage Liu Qian-Shao studying traditional embroidery and as a resident artist at Fu Jen Catholic University’s textile department. They also spent 3 months in South Korea as part of their year, working with Dr. Youngran Kim, also studying embroidery, as well as the art collective Crazy Multiply. They currently live in Philly as a University Fellow at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture’s Fiber and Material Studies department.
