Andrew Bradshaw

Class of 2025-2026

About Andrew

Andrew Bradshaw is a bridge-builder, facilitator, communicator, and innovator with a long-standing passion for social justice, largely influenced by an ethnically and socio-economically diverse family background. A senior at Westmont College, Andrew is an Augustinian Scholar in the college’s academic honors program which explores questions concerning human flourishing, social good, and virtuous citizenship. Seeking to concentrate his studies on social justice, Andrew designed his own interdisciplinary major—Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This interdisciplinary program—combining Economics, Business, Sociology, Psychology, and Communications—cultivates a holistic understanding of social problems, systems for change, and pro-social leadership.

Andrew’s professional experience includes project management, dialogue facilitation, process-creation, and diverse stakeholder bridge-building. His work has contributed to a broad range of pro-social missions, spanning from poverty alleviation at the world’s largest nonprofit furniture bank to women’s reproductive justice at a nonprofit software startup to environmental sustainability and DEI at a for-profit corporation. However, Andrew is particularly passionate about international peacebuilding—a conviction from his studies abroad in Northern Europe, exploring the devastating effects of 20th century violent conflicts and the restorative work of past and present peacemakers. Sobered and inspired, Andrew resolved to a life of peacebuilding.

Since returning, Andrew has interned for International Crisis Group—a globally renowned violent conflict prevention organization. At Crisis Group, Andrew supported organizational development, co-authoring grant proposals that ultimately secured $450,000 in new revenue. Particularly passionate about the interpersonal facets of peacebuilding, Andrew also supported the development of Crisis Group’s Dialogue Initiative, crafting the organization’s first public-facing dialogue concept note.

Andrew’s professional experience within international peacebuilding laid the groundwork for his undergraduate thesis which evaluates contemporary challenges and opportunities for innovation within the field of peace mediation. Andrew will graduate Valedictorian from Westmont College in May 2025, and will continue to pursue a career as a scholar and practitioner pursuing global peace.
