About Christopher
Christopher Magoon is a psychiatry resident at Columbia Univeristy. He graduated from Yale University with a degree in history and has lived in China as both a Luce and Fulbright scholar. His writing focuses on medical history, China, and mental health. His work has appeared in The Atlantic, Foreign Policy, and Huffington Post , among others. Originally from Canton, Ohio, Christopher now lives in Manhattan with his wife Alison and their dog Willow.
