(updated 4/2021) For his Luce year, Josh Feinzig was a visiting researcher at the College of Law at National Taiwan University, where he worked with Professor Wen-Chen Chang on East Asian constitutionalism and administrative law research.  Josh also worked with the Ministry of Interior, Taiwan’s executive agency responsible for the administration of domestic affairs, where he assisted Minister Jiunn-rong Yeh–also a legal scholar at NTU–on a variety of policy areas, including participatory governance and human rights reform. At the request of the Ministry, Josh conducted a review of Taiwan’s immigration detention centers and related regulations. Originally from South Florida, Josh is currently a law student at Yale Law School. He studied Ethics, Politics & Economics at Yale University, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and was awarded the University’s Roosevelt L. Thompson Prize for his commitment to public service and the William H. Orrick, Jr. Senior Essay Prize. He previously also received an MPhil as a Gates Cambridge Scholar from the University of Cambridge.
