What is the Luce Experience?Thirteen Months of Language Training, Cultural Immersion, and Learning on the Job
Your Luce Year will run from June to July of the following year. You’ll begin with an orientation and two months of intensive language training, equipping you with the linguistic skills necessary to thrive in your host country. Then, you’ll head to your job placement and work there for the rest of the year, immersing yourself in the local culture, forging connections with colleagues, and contributing to the betterment of your host community. While fully involved in your job placement, you will also have the chance to reunite with your cohort for a brief but invaluable break, where you will reflect and share experiences.
